职位描述

Basic Description:

The Machine Sales Manager is responsible for managing industrial machine sales activities at end users and distributors in China. He(She) is accountable for maximizing sales growth by concentrating on supporting distributor to create top-of-mind awareness and by working with end-users to represent the portfolio of Lincoln machine products. Execute and implement key go-to-market initiatives.


Primary Product Responsibilities Include: Local/Resale machines, MIG Guns and Welding Accessories.

Key Measurements include:

? Overall channel market share.

? Revenue Growth

? Incremental sales growth of targeted local/resale products.

? Training completed (with distributor and machine sales).

? Win ratio of targeted accounts.


Essential Functions Include:

? Create/implement actions plans with key machine distributors to aggressively grow machine sales and channel market share.

? Cultivate strong relationships with key machine distributors and key end users.

? Communicate cross-functionally with sales branches and value added solution sales resources and operating businesses.

? Implement distributor training programs that include product knowledge, marketing initiatives, and business processes.

? End user demonstrations of products, tools and accessories.

? Reporting on activities, opportunities, market and competitive trends.

? Sustain a pipeline of key end user competitive account projects in target segments

? Ability to qualify leads for automation projects.

? Leverage the machine position to grow Lincoln product portfolio.







Minimum Requirements:

? Technical Certificate, Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical or Business Discipline

? 5 + Years of sales experience, selling and demonstrating industrial products. Prefer to have 2+ years sales management experience

? Previous experience with industrial distribution channels

? Strong communication, math and interpersonal skills

? Strong understanding of welding processes.

? Overnight travel at least 50%.

? Good spoken and written English.

? Computer capability with Microsoft Office skills and SAP or the ability to learn and competently operate SAP data management and reporting
