Job description
We are seeking a self starter to lead, monitor and track the New Routes Solution Business Proposal operations tasks for Global China Group (GCG). This individual will serve within the global Operations Hub infrastructure supporting the STG New Routes Growth Initiative – and will support Solution Business Proposal (SBP) operational execution. Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Track Solution Business Proposal (SBP) give/get commitments and achievements – including stated performance measures, funding commitments/payments, timelines and associated quarterly budget alignment – effectively managing any planned versus actual deviations per the signed SBP agreement terms
Drive Solution Business Proposal (SBP) operational execution for GCG – including effective partner co-marketing (CMT) tool deployment, partner co-marketing funding disbursement, pipeline management, SBP commitment (give/gets) tracking, management and reporting
Identify proper funding model for SBP gives and advise New Routes sellers appropriately
Coordinate and manage quarterly funding allocation and partner SBP give payments via CMT tool – ensuring compliance with IBM Business Controls and IBM Global Disbursement Guidelines
Facilitate payment of non-marketing give expenses via the procurement process for GCG
Manage administration of all New Routes Loaner Equipment requests for assigned region
Serve as trusted consultants to the New Routes Sales Executives and/or participating influencer partners on tool and process steps for SBP give funding reimbursements
Validate SBP give funding commitments – and manage the CMT New Routes Business Partner co-marketing funding allocation, activity, claims review for GCG.
Drive regular and effective linkage, collaboration and communications with global, IOT and local teams as appropriate – including SBP Operations Hub, New Routes marketing & sales, BPO, IDR, STG demand program teams
Report on SBP funding commitments/status, performance achievement and trend analysis for SBPs and participating partners
Identify and share best practices across team
Support Business Controls compliance and effective SBP execution by ensuring relevant SBP documentation are current, visible and complete in the New Routes Management System Database
Other assignments as needed to support SBP operations excellence
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree
Strong project management skills
Organizational skills
Fluent in Chinese and English languages (spoken and written)
Excellent listening, oral and written skills
Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment
Preferred Skills
Master’s degree
Experience working with Business Partners
Knowledge of IBM Business Partner co-marketing
Experience with IBM global partner funding disbursement process and IBM partner co-marketing tools
Knowledge of IBM's routes to market
