Global Risk
Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk
management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud,
information security, operational, credit, pension, insurance, compliance, regulatory, market, reputation and
geopolitical risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established
threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of FCC GS Manager HBCN
In this role, you will:
• To discharge the accountabilities set out in the Compliance Officer Handbook by pro-actively assisting management in identifying and containing compliance risk; monitoring, reporting and certification; fostering a compliance culture and optimising relations with Regulators.
• Primarily responsible for assisting the Senior Manager Compliance in advising and supporting management on a regional basis in complying with all relevant external regulations and internal codes and policies and good market practices. Responsible for providing advice on compliance issues and liaison with senior line and regional management in planning how Compliance should be managed, operate and function in order to serve management and business needs.

Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
·Either through a major Compliance Department, legal or accounting firm (or combination thereof) or "hands-on" risk management/operational/controls orientated role (preferably within the Group).
·Personal integrity and good analytical and communication skills are essential since Senior Management need to be informed promptly and concisely of any areas of Compliance risk affecting the Bank.
·Strong character and inter-personal skills are essential in persuading areas to develop a Compliance culture/consciousness and positioning Compliance as a supportive and business-friendly service.
