Retail Banking and Wealth Management
Retail Banking and Wealth Management leverages HSBC’s global retail banking expertise and wealth management capabilities to deliver a broad range of world-class retail banking solutions to millions of customers. Driving for growth in key markets around the world, the business comprises areas such as retail banking, wealth management, insurance and asset management, with a focus on customer-centric propositions and innovative and efficient distribution channels that will differentiate our customer experience and deliver market leading retail banking and wealth management solutions.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Structured Product Manager RBWM HBCN.
In this role, you will:

·Achieve ROP target
·Initiate product plan and structure for Structured Investment products to meet target customer’s need
·Increase for Structured Investment product profitability and market share
·Communicate and translate Country strategy to local entities and reflect the needs of local entities to Country teams. Develop and drive a standardized approach for client engagement by channels, equipping servicing teams with appropriate tools and capabilities. Drive product campaigns and oversee the distribution of Structured Products in coordination with insights, channel managers, sales leads and Country wealth teams.
·Leverage capabilities in Deposits, FX, Investment Insights, Financial Planning, Business/Platform Implementation and Product & Advice Control within the wider Wealth Management team to implement the broader strategy.
·Develop effective product provider interfaces in product development and performance; manage all key internal and external stakeholders effectively in the product development and deployment, and Country oversight process.
·Develop effective interfaces and action plans in implementing the RBWM risk management framework and be an active participant at Country WMOC and contributor to Global Third Party Oversight Committee
·Participate in local Country product panels led by Business Planning, Operations Risk, Product Control (ie. small Country exits, long tenor fee products review, superannuation business reviews), and ensure compliance with Group strategy/policies, managing approvals/changes, and monitor local Country analysis of risk, performance and financial results.
·Manage Country RBWM efforts in referring corporate customers and relationship building to/with Group entities; Commercial Banking, Private Banking, Global Banking

Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

·Extensive experience in Wealth Management across sales, product and distribution in a leading private client or wealth management firm
·Direct experience in the structured products area with deep understanding of sales, structuring execution and settlement
·Knowledge of regional practices and standards would be an asset and broad experience and understanding of the ASP markets will be essential
·Strong academic credentials with professional accreditations in investments, e.g. CFA
·Excellent communication skills and ability to write persuasively and converse fluently in English
·Proven track record of business results with strong commercial focus and rigor in implementation
·Demonstrable people leadership and country relationship management skills, with the ability to gain consensus and agreement between geographically diverse countries
