Retail Banking and Wealth Management
Retail Banking and Wealth Management leverages HSBC’s global retail banking expertise and wealth management capabilities to deliver a broad range of world-class retail banking solutions to millions of customers. Driving for growth in key markets around the world, the business comprises areas such as retail banking, wealth management, insurance and asset management, with a focus on customer-centric propositions and innovative and efficient distribution channels that will differentiate our customer experience and deliver market leading retail banking and wealth management solutions.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Funds and Bond Manager RBWM HBCN.
In this role, you will:

·Responsible for developing the country Wealth Management Managed Products franchise, managing the Country Wealth Development team and directing teams to deliver sustainable WEM profitability and enhanced market leadership
·Manage the implementation of Global Wealth strategies in country, driving product, pricing, promotion and platform and channel strategy, working closely with Group Centres of Reference
·Lead the implementation of the WEM Managed Products risk framework, by developing portfolio concentration tracking mechanisms as well as concentration along various risk parameters.
·Design, develop and implement a consistent product portfolio management strategy, leveraging Centre of Reference MI & Analytics teams, to develop ‘next to sell product’ strategies by segment to enhance cross-sell, TRB & revenue from existing customers, & accelerate product penetration and recurring revenues
·Leverage and promote research-themes product campaigns, and scope, design and deliver an asset allocation advisory journey leveraging platforms, working closely with key stakeholders in Global, Country and Country teams, to implement short, medium and long term transformation plans to support the Group’s trusted advisor positioning
·Drive the distribution of Managed Products in coordination with channel managers, Country sales leads and Country teams across online, mobile, phone, branch and other relevant channels.
·Establish distinct offerings for the range of client needs including execution, controlled advice and discretionary solution seekers with distinctions by client segment, especially Premier Top Tier clients.
·Ensure a high level of compliance and control for all Managed Products, including systems platforms, oversight processes, quality checks and reporting.
·Oversee local Country product panels, ensure compliance with Group strategy/policies, managing approvals/changes, and monitor local Country analysis of risk, performance and financial results.
·Provide Country input to new product design initiatives (the end to end customer journey/experience of using the product) to ensure customer needs are met most effectively
·Contribute strongly to continuous improvement, to improved customer experience through the advocacy of a client centric sales culture incorporating TCF principles.

Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

·Seasoned experience in wealth management with a focus on Product Governance and Quality Assurance and with a strong track record of results delivered.
·Knowledge of Product practices and standards in China and other Asia markets is required; experience and understanding of regulatory requirements in Asia markets will be a definite advantage
·Strong Business and Operational Risk focus with the ability to monitor and assess key risks at both a country and regional level
·Knowledge of the RBWM organization in China and its wealth products, processes and pertinent regulations affecting their delivery
·Effective country relationship management skills with the ability to challenge practices, gain consensus and agreement on best practices and standards
·Demonstrable interpersonal and influencing skills, people leadership and coaching skills
·Excellent communication skills and ability to write persuasively and converse fluently in English
