Major Responsibilities:

1．Analyze commodity market to assess present material availability and future needs .Develop strategies / strategic partners, evaluate supply chain and business continuity risks and deliver and implement plans to mitigate those risks.

2． Manage the commodity team to collaborate and deliver against shared objectives set for the commodity with alignment with the team’s functional managers.

3． Provide transparent management report on the performance of the commodity

4． Identify and develop areas of innovation and gain share within the commodity

5． Ensure availability of venders capable to support business needs in line of business objective and sourcing strategy

6． Managing commodity supplier non-conformance issues

7． Support IPT to manage and optimize product performance of quality, cost, delivery and service level.

Requirements:

1．Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, LEAN Supply Chain, production methods and coordination of people and resources.

2．Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

3．Knowledge of ISO9000, CSR and quality assurance and control techniques, compliance and non-conformance and corrective action cycles and Six Sigma tools and techniques.

4．An awareness of the local laws, code of conduct and regulations applying to supply contracts and liability.

5．Good understanding of the cost structure, budgeting, invoicing and open book costing.

6．Solid background with good knowledge of outsourcing practice, commodity strategy building.

7．Good communication skill and fluent communication in English and Chinese.
