Job Summary:
The Senior Analyst is responsible for assisting the Japan Team lead to ensure the successful execution of administration tasks around the ongoing operation of Japan employee related programs and processes relevant to business needs. Based on sound knowledge of HR processes, policies and tools, provides guidance, support and expertise to the customers.
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Analyst will be responsible for managing the execution of a range of processes within the HR Service Centre to provide personnel administration and training support in accordance with the following ABS service lines:
· Exit management
· Leave administration
· Recruitment (new hire administration)
· Probation administration
· Redeployment (DTE transfer/SL affiliation)
· Employee data management
· Employee Certification Administration
Transactions (SAP and other)
· Ensure the completion of all administrative tasks related to the implementation of the service lines noted above
· Ensure the Team perform information maintenance and update for all service lines (e.g. new hires, leave administration, personnel information changes and updates, training enrollment) in an accurate and timely manner
Systems / Standards
· Maximize the effectiveness of the HR function by ensuring the Team use systems and procedures that ensure compliance with Accenture standards
People Development:
· Maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the team through empowering individuals to provide maximum benefit to all customers. Activities should include:
- Day to day supervision of service delivery
- Day to day skills training and assessment
- Performance coaching and feedback, as required
- Identifying and implementing training activities designed to foster and develop high performance within the team
- Plan and assign work to individuals within the Team that fosters maximum skill development
· Demonstrate effective teaming skills with internal and external team members
· Participate in people development activities outside of the team (e.g. community activities, recruiting).
Customer Services:
· Ensure the PA team provides consistent advise on relevant HR policies and by providing access to personnel information as required
· Ensure that the PA Team respond to all employee enquiries in a timely and effective manner
· Ensure that any outstanding issues / enquiries are escalated as appropriate
· Resolve outstanding issues / enquiries or escalate further, if necessary
Teamwork:
Maximize the effectiveness of teamwork within the HR Service Centre by providing assistance to team leads or other team members in busy periods
Continuous Improvement (Processes and SLA’s):
·Complete regular reviews of systems and processes used within the team;
·Make recommendations on process improvements
·Assist with the review of SLA’s and suggest improvements to ensure continuous improvement within the HR Service Centre
Reporting:
Provide regular HR statistical and ad hoc reports and information analysis as required country HR by effectively using SAP and its reporting structures
Prepare reports for the designated service lines performance metrics as outlined in the Service Level Agreement
Auditing:
Ensure the accuracy of employee information by regular conduct of audits appropriate to service lines
Special Projects:
Assist country HR by providing support to local projects with ad hoc services as requested
Relationships:
Reports to: ABS HR Japan PA Team Lead
Supervises: HR analysts & HR Assistants
External Relationships: HR service providers – as appropriate
Qualifications:
Education: Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience
Work Experience: Preferably 2-3 years HR administration related experience and in-depth SAP knowledge
Work Requirements: The incumbent will be based at the ABS in Dalian
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Fluent English and advanced Personal computer and Microsoft Applications skills are preferred
Good organizational skills
Flexibility and teaming skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Demonstrated willingness to work in flat team structure and develop a range of HR competences
Strong customer focus and attention to detail
