Responsibilities:

? Report to BU Head APAC

? Take responsibilities of the sales, marketing, purchasing and programs and solutions (incl. appl. Engineering) in China for Automotive products

? Implement all global functions from BU in China

? Achieve the legal and company specific premises in the fields of occupational safety, environmental protection and of the quality management standards

? Be able to work within a disciplinary and functional reporting / management system

? Bring the organization from Cost to Profit Center (via Engineering Services)

? Important driver to reach the high goal

? Set-Up the Automotive Office in China under focus of service, management and product excellence.

? Implement Processes and Strategies in China in alignment with strategic business unit standards by considering local premises

? Plan and keep the set targets (turnover, financial goals, resource, budget) for the area of responsibility

? Guarantee a close co-operation of all departments within the region Asia Pacific (in particular purchasing, engineering, sales and marketing) in order to bring the best products dedicated to the local possibilities into the market

? Build Up and manage team in China and assure the achievement of other assigned tasks

Qualifications:

? University degree, majored in mechanical engineering and/or MBA is preferred

? Experienced in Senior Management Positions in Automotive industry with focus of advanced technical products, preferential in powertrain with strong relationship network towards stake holders

? PC-Know How (MS Office, SAP)

? Knowledge of QS 9000 / VDA 6, ISO TS 16949

? Fluent in English, preferential German

? Leadership & analytical skills

? Team management skills

? Ability of building up, qualifying, motivating and retaining people

? Strong communication skills

? Target-oriented, highly self-motivated

? Stable, straightforward and loyal
