Job description
Responsibilities
Independently develop and deepen relationship with the local governments and their associated bodies. Identify and approach the key local government agencies closely related to IBM’s businesses in West China.
Regularly engage and coordinate with the key government stakeholders in local gov-ernments to secure the government approval, policy support and regulatory permits.
Support the GM in the West China region to develop the business in Geo Expansion cities.
Support and work with the local teams for communication and reputation and all other necessary issues.
Collaborate with public regional team on identifying client issues and requirements, formulating solutions with local government entities.
Assist GCG Governmental Programs Director to plan and implement the GP China re-gional strategy.
Working with GCG Governmental Programs Director to support the corporate business plan and growth strategy.
Monitor the changes of the local public policies, organization structure, decision making process, update the overall relationship portfolio and identify those potential important stakeholders and key figures.
Take lead to communicate with both the foreign and local industrial associations
Requirements of the position
Strong personal skills in communications/negotiation, problem solving, client relation-ship and team playing.
Prior working experience in the government organizations and multi-national Corpora-tions in China.
Fluency in spoken and written English is a must
Self-motivated, quick-learner, and high achievement driving.
Bachelor degree or above.
