COMPETENCE PROFILE

Role: Sourcing BD
Report to: Sourcing Development Manager
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
? Provide sourcing methods, tools , resources to each category on demand.
? Takes special responsibility for sourcing projects and finding new suppliers based on category needs or market intelligence (based on research in new categories, segments or geography).
? Provides timely external market intelligence to all category business in China
? Establishes best practices in sourcing projects.
ASSIGNMENTS (main responsibilities)
1. Core (sourcing projects in the Category business)
? Understand the needs for sourcing defined by the Category
? Agree on scope and deadline with a project plan
? Implement the project with quality.
2. Secondary ( New opportunities)
? Run projects to identify new suppliers in new business.
3. Special Projects
? Take on sourcing projects initiated by either category need or China Market intelligence based on research in new cat/seg/Regions
4.Provide external Market intelligence ,covering:
? Macro economic Trends in China
? Supplier Markets in relation to Industry relocation, New sourcing regions and new suppliers all over China
? Undertake Specific Industry study/analysis as requested by the Categories.
5. Share/transfer sourcing methods/tools/resource to business team.

* Provide clear project report with the related material situation / supplier market base
