Position Strategic Sourcing Manager Division Strategic Sourcing
Department/BU Strategic Sourcing Report to Strategic Sourcing Director (瑞典人)
Location Shanghai Grandfather Mgr General Manager

Primary Accountability
Responsible to lead the strategic sourcing activities in line with Company specialized product category as well as potential product groups fit to Company development strategy. Develop advantage & competitiveness through sourcing and business support to achieve long term total cost reduction and operation smooth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead sourcing team responsible for commercial aspects of product from established or potential supply base including:
? Guide the selection and development of preferred suppliers enabling the Company to meet the cost and performance goals.
? Interface with the BUs to understand their needs, secure materials supply to satisfy their business needs.
? Monitor commodity market conditions, technology roadmaps, and identify supply/demand challenges, leverage spending, technology, and supplier relationships to obtain the best value.
? Keep the BUs informed regarding market conditions, suppliers, lead times, and shifts in pricing for strategic commodity materials and services
? Negotiate agreements and agreement related duties. Identify and cultivate new business relationships related to products and product development activities.
? Evaluate capabilities and capacities of current or proposed suppliers (supply/demand) and conduct supplier visits/evaluations to determine suitability
? Meet or exceed published cost reduction goals within agreed-to time frames, establish long-term relationships that benefit companywide segments.
? Set goals and objectives, and performance metrics for subordinator, and lead the team to achieve high efficiency.
? Drive for continuous improvement and cost saving.
Key Performance Indicators
? Achieve continuous total cost reduction on yearly basis
? Keep best supply source for smooth operation as well as business development
? Ensure supply performance best to meet operation & new business’s needs
Job Requirements
? Bachelor Degree in mechanical/electrical oriented engineering or related discipline preferred.
? 5+ years strategic sourcing activity with lead responsibility for supplier investigation, qualification, negotiation, supplier management in international corporation of mechanical or electrical products/industry.
? Experience in new product development processes as well as project management Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills in international and multi-cultural environment
? Knowledge of manufacturing and quality assurance practices.
? Ability to create detailed plans in order to accomplish high level goals and objectives.
? Understanding of “total cost” concepts and basic cost accounting
? Ability to forge relationships both internally within company and externally with suppliers
? Drive for result, convincing, team-worker & Can-Do attitude.
? Strong influencing skills and solid leadership in international environment
? Ability to lead, coach, and influence direct reports.
? Mature personality, self-disciplined and honest, high level of integrity
? Open-minded, adapted to cross culture organization.
? Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.
