Key Internal Contacts Quality and Regulatory Managers in BUs, bottlers and CPS; Peers in other TCCC laboratories and SMEs Reports to (Position) Senior Manager, Food Safety
Key External Contact 3rd Party laboratories WW, governmental laboratories&suppliers Business Area Quality, Analytical Service support

A) Job Objective & Key Result Area
? Objective: ? Leading the analytical team using Liquid Chromatography (LC) &liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry to provide accurate & prompt results forquality monitoring programs and trouble-shooting testing.
? Initiating activities and projects to adopt new analytical technologies and concepts to meet business development of TCCC as well as keeping the laboratory state-of-art capability to support business needs.
? Perform lab bench work as a backup to team member
? Key Result Area: ? As team manager, identify resources, including but not limited to manpower, instruments, budget, to accommodate analytical service requirements for routine quality monitoring and trouble-shooting cases and finish them timely with good quality
? As people manager, responsible for developing his/her subordinates’ performance, development and career plan, providing coaching and mentoring to subordinates.
? Collaboratively work with quality officer to guarantee data integrity according to well-defined quality system, keeping all instruments in a good condition,
? Work strategically with clients to fully understand their needs and provide value-added analytical service & technical support.
? Lead projects on method development, transferring and validation.
? Build and maintain networks with internal or external parties on analytical techniques, food safety topics providing leadership, insight and inspiration.

? Technical Competency ? In-depth knowledge on advanced instrument analysis including chromatography, spectrometry and mass spectrometry etc.
? Hands-on experience on method developments using LC and LC/MS techniques.
? Industry knowledge on food quality and safety management on beverages and ingredients.
? Project management skills to drive excellent results in increasingly complex environments.
? Independent Judgment Work independently, need to make sound decision within wok scope
? Knowledge & Experience At least 10 years of working experience in a chemistry-related laboratory. Preferably at least 2 years of experience of supervisor role.
? Education & Professional Qualifications At least Bachelor degree in science preferably in chemistry
? Language Requirements Good English in written and oral; good communication skill
? Travel Requirements 5-50% of work time under normal conditions
