JOB SUMMARY:
Task is to lead and manage the NPI team establishing technical objectives, and plan to:
- introduce new products in close cooperation with customers, in-house staff and suppliers
- develop and adopt new production principles and strive for differentiation to competition
- rationalize existing production processes and principles
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Communicate effectively with customers to identify needs and evaluate technical solutions, from definition phase through implementation.
? Create and execute development plans, revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
? Consistently deliver high-quality services to increase customer satisfaction and enhance customer relationships.
? Manage technical risks throughout the project.
? Perform technical reviews with customers, in-house staff and suppliers.
? Manage technical resources to meet project schedule and budget.
? Participate resolving the issues related to the processes of tooling, stamping, assembly, parts DFM, etc. and apply know-how for new projects effectively.
? Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely manner.
? Continuously search and investigate new technologies.
? Support factories with specification, selection and realization of complex machine investments and peripheral equipment.
? Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential.
? Keep track of lessons learned and share those lessons with team members.
? Conduct effective performance evaluations and coach engineers through formal and informal channels.
? Encourage engineers to take responsibility of their development within the company.
? Comply with and help to enforce standard policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENT:
? Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering
? 5+ yrs working experience of NPI/Manufacturing Engineering
? Experience in full product development process. Product design experience and exposure to manufacturing environment that include stamping, molding, decorations, assembly, etc
? Computer knowledge in office and engineering software
? Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
