Responsibilities:
1. Strategically source qualified suppliers who have the ability to meet foreign standards and norms, especially DIN and EN.
This includes market research, evaluation, audit and supervision first orders.
2. Audit potential suppliers according to Schuler procedures and policy, and collect information into supplier database.
3. Keep contact with overseas affiliates, source and recommend localized or lucrative components for the first 2 orders
4. Effectively manage complex supplier commercial relationships and partnership. Applicable to new and existing local and international vendors.
5. Undertake lead-time management and reduction initiatives.
6. Translate, if necessary, during supplier visit and drawing clarification.
7. Negotiate with suppliers to reach target price and favorable commercial terms
8. Work with other departments to follow up the contract, e.g. logistics, financial.

Qualifications:
1. At least bachelor degree in Electronic engineering or similar, good knowledge on electrical drawing & specification;
2. At least 3 years of professional experience in electronic components related experience in heavy machinery industry;
3. Solid procurement and supply chain industry knowledge;
4. Fluent in spoken and written English. German will be a plus;
5. Knowledge of MS Office;
6. High degree of data integrity and analytic skills.
