Location: Scotford, Alberta, Canada

Responsibilities:

· Partner with the Business from an HR Operational perspective to ensure the delivery of the local HR plan and the global HR strategies

· Provide HR leadership,advice,coaching and support to business leadership teams and employees. Also accountable to work closely with the business to understand business goals and competitive environment and collaborate on effective solutions

· Deliver against the business Diversity and Inclusion plan to build a strong and diverse talent pool and future pipeline
Administer and guide application of Global HR processes and local practices including the Hourly Pay Practices,performance management, etc

· Support clients in building strong integrated teams including provision of Organizational Effectiveness support to client groups

· Coach and support other members of the HR team including HR Analyst and Associate

Requirements:

· Ideally, the incumbent will have a related post secondary degree coupled with approx 8 - 12 years HR generalist and/or specialist experience.

· CHRP would be an asset

· Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with various business partners, and be able to handle multiple priorities / initiatives across M and HO class of businesses.

· Must be willing to work at our Scotford site (1400 employees) location based near Fort.Sask Alberta, and willing to make occasional business trips to our Calgary and Fort McMurray locations. Progression within Shell HR will depend on the ability to be mobile within Canada, and a willingness in addition to consider international assignments will further increase career opoprtunities.
