Job Role
The Sales Director will be responsible for driving sales for the Small Rings Division from the Dalian plant. Being a leader in the sales and business development team, the incumbent will be actively involved in the cultivation of project sales development as part of the global matrix organization.
The person will be responsible for managing the China sales team to ensure the client prospects are activated and client satisfaction is maintained.
Operating in an engineering environment, the successful candidate will work closely with other relevant stakeholders, such as engineering, production, procurement and finance.
The incumbent shall report to Managing Director, Dalian Plant.
Requirement—Qualifications & Experience
Education: Graduated from a toptier undergraduate university in mechanical engineering or business administration. MBA would be a plus.
Working Experience & Industry Focus: Minimum 15 years of working in the industrial engineering sectors, ideally in the energy, automotive or transportation sectors. At least 5 years in sales and business development capacity in a project sales working environment.
Management Experience: at least 8 years in a management capacity with exposure to people and sales management involving strategic planning and operating in a matrix organization.
Language ability: excellent oral and written communication skills in Mandarin and English.
People Management Expectations: Proven track record in managing a sizeable sales team and/or external distributors.
Commercial expectations: Proven track record in successful acquisition of major projects from lead generation to customer delivery.
