职位描述
The FSM has the objective of providing the following 3 primary functions:
1. The professional management of financial services including statutory accounting, external audit, banking relationships, banking systems and bank account management, cash flow forecasting, taxation, credit control, insurance and risk management, legal entity structuring and all company secretarial services and other country specific services.
2. The provision of central shared services for accounting transactions such as centralised payments, accounts receivable management, Payroll processing, Fixed Asset accounting and management, pensions & benefits provision (e.g. company car program)
3. The leadership, development and training of accounting and finance staff and employees in the country.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
1. Financial Services Management (FSM)
· Statutory accounting and consolidations.
· Cash Management - liaison with banks and cash flow forecasting and reporting
· Treasury - banking relationships, cash flow, currency exposure
· Credit Control Management
· Personal Taxation, Tax Returns and Deferred Taxation and tax planning
· Income Statement below DNE - financing costs, foreign exchange, taxation
· External audit liaison, scope, fee negotiation
· Legal structuring and restructuring
· Company secretarial services & compliance
· Financing of major capital and acquisitions
· General liaison with US corporate departments
· Monthly Reporting
· Risk Management
· Major contracts and review
· Agreement for cost sharing (FSU, Country HR, Country Sales, IT, CMD, Platform mgr etc)
2. Financial Support Unit (FSU)
Centralized payments to suppliers
Bank and other control accounts reconciliations
Centralized cash application
Implementation of best practices
Creation & Management of Shared Service Centre (FSU)
Payroll processing and payroll accounting
Fixed Asset Management
Address Book maintenance
Chart of accounts maintenance
Credit Control
3. Leadership and development of accounting/finance staff
Interface with financial accounting staff in all locations in country/region
Provision of training for staff on US and local GAAP and other relevant skills
Supporting Finance Graduates on the European training program
Qualifications:
· Certified Accountant
· Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting. Master Degree preferred.
· Broad and in-depth experience (10+ years) within finance and accounting having operated at a management level.
· Experience of detailed financial accounting.
· Legal, taxation, company secretarial and statutory accounting expertise for country/region.
· Internal and external audit services.
· Strong knowledge of internal controls.
· Accounting processes and accounting systems knowledge of JD Edwards a plus.
· Professionalism and Integrity.
· People management.
· Strong communication skills throughout an organization.
· Independence and confidentiality.
· Ability to coordinate, multi-task and adhere to strict timelines.
