Xi’an BD Manager-for a global freight forwarding company

The Client:
Our client is global freight forwarding company, and looking for a candidate with solid freight forwarding sales experience including air freight, sea freight, logistics and domestic transportation.

Key Responsibilities:
?The business is including but not limited: Sea Freight, Air Freight, Warehousing, Transportation, Trucking, Supply Chain Service, etc
?Mainly focus CIF direct client in the local market including Air freight and ocean CIF (FCL&LCL) business.
?Ensure sales target are met through a robust sales plan through a smart approach
?Actively drive local sales through aggressively developing new sales from both existing and new customers, for the products that we are offering today
?Provide a regular update on market conditions and provide anticipated developments for same in order to adjust customer/market approach timely and correctly
? Ensure constant evolution of both business and the people in the Sales Department, with a strong foundation in the group values.
?Ensure organizational scalability to enable continued fast growth.
?Provide clear direction and lead all sales activities in Branch through the establishment and execution of a solid Branch-level Milestone Plan and sales pipeline reports
?Define the sales strategy for the local market
?Drive the sales pipeline for the office and the development areas
?Ensure Sales targets are met through a robust sales plan, SMART targets and sales resources.
?Lead and develop a resourceful and strong sales team able to deliver on targets with development potential.
?Promote and market the brand
? Specifically responsible for deciding; such as sales plans, priorities and targets
? Jointly with the line manager create education and training plans based on career aspirations, as well as current and future business needs.

Key Requirement
? 3-5 years in Sales with solid knowledge of forwarding business
? Fully accountable and responsible for meeting and exceeding personal sales targets
? Seasoned sales who can bring in with new customers and new business
? Passion, initiative and drive to continuously develop and serve clients both internal & external with creativity and innovation
? Measured on sales performance
? Proven track record on landing business
? Global view and sense.
? Creative problem solving capability.
? Advanced interpersonal communication skills.
