Responsibilities:

- Develop the product requirement strategy for new products and enhancements to existing products and drive them through the technology development process through to commercial release of the product.

- Define opportunities to broaden the product offering through complimentary product and solution offerings

- Responsible for defining marketing and commercial strategies for new and existing products

- Determine optimal pricing strategy for products and channels for the business

- Responsible for overall revenue and margin targets for assigned product lines

- Create marketing communications material including guide form specifications, product presentations, content for brochures and catalogues to promote product solution offering to market

- Responsible for creation and delivery of sales and customer presentations

- Responsible for the product lifecycle strategy.

Qualifications Required:

- Must have background in Power System Transmission, Distribution and/or Substation Automation

- Minimum 5 years experience in Product Management, Application Engineering or Technical Sales

- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

- Excellent presentation and technical writing skills

- Proven experience in leading and driving projects

- Ability to influence and gain commitment at all levels and cross functionally

- Strong interpersonal skills

- Prior knowledge of GE protection, control, and automation products an asset
