Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities
• Lead Gas Turbine Combine Cycle System Integration and Equipment Optimization to drive GTCC Performance Improvement, Cost Down and Reliability Improvement, develop most competitive combined cycle plant solution
• Build local system integration and optimization capability
• Work with team to conduct equipment optimization
• Lead the product upgrade, new product/technology development
• Organizes and reviews project overall design scheme and reviews critical project technical deliverables
• Conducts special studies or analysis of critical engineering issues, and recommend solutions
• Work with localization team, to be responsible for technical support to GTCC localization on GTGs, STGs and MSD, etc.
• Support China GT Program initiative and development
• Provide engineering and systematic support to China EPC
• Organize and Develop the training plan for teams, train and mentor other engineers to build team capabilities

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor Degree or above in Power Generation related majors
• Minimum 15 years of power generation experience, at least 6 years with GTCC projects
• Key technical leadership roles in design institutes or engineering functions
• Rich knowledge on Chinese power market, understand market needs and trends
• Expertise on power generation equipment such as GTG, STG, HRSG etc.
• Strong leadership capability
• A highly motivated "self-starter" who is goal oriented, with Customer oriented mindset
• Have strong communication and coordination capabilities.
• Strong accountability. Willingness and ability to work on various issues resolution simultaneously and within aggressive timeframes.
• Fluent English skills

• Design Institute background preferred with GTCC system experience
• Creative problem solving skills
• Training skill is preferred
• Registered senior engineer of PRC
