Reliability Engineering is a combination of Engineering, Mathematics and Statistics
The candidate needs to have experience in Engineering as well as Engineering Statistics and Engine Knowledge
o The job is to understand the function of engine components and how they fail/break,
o Understand how we can calculate how often they fail and use advanced statistical models to do that
o Part of it is analyzing large sets of warranty data that comes from our customers or to analyze test data that comes from PV&V or from our suppliers
o Job requires understanding of how to test parts and how the test plan can be setup and how many samples we need

The candidate that I am looking for needs to have experience in at least engineering and engineering statistics (reliability analysis methodologies).
o If he/she has good engineering knowledge and no engine experience, then we need to train them
o Reliability engineering specific training will require intensive training in the USA (about 6 months)
