职位描述
Position Title: Assembly Group Leader
Major Purpose:
Will be the senior supervisor in the assembly operation, which includes assembly, test and paint.
Responsible for supervising wage employes to achieve dept goals and objectives for safety, quality, delivery and productivity.
Supervise skilled production employees working shifts to support production requirements.
Will provide direction to less senior assembly supervisors.
Coordinate with Operations Management to ensure alignment with factory objectives.
Represent the company and management as the point of contact with the wage employees.
Major Duties:
? Administers wage employee policies, practices, procedures and work rules for the unit.
? Coordinates with Labor Relations for any wage employee issues.
? Ensures that wage personnel are trained and have appropriate tools and work instructions.
? Ensures safety safety processes and programs are implemented.
? Ensures 5S is properly maintained in the shop floor.
? Supervises production activities to ensure that manufactured products meet quality requirements.
? Monitors individual and line performance to meet daily production targets.
? Directs continuous improvement plans and activities for the shop floor.
? Responsible for initiating disciplinary actions as needed to insure the Company and employee policies and work rules are maintained.
? Communicates company and management policies and interests to the wage workforce.
? Determines manufacturing priorities based on the production schedule and assigns wage employees to meet the production goals.
? Schedules and assigns overtime as needed to meet production requirements.
? Works with maintenance dept to plan equipment maintenance to maximize uptime and utilization of capital equipment assets.
? Manage department operating budget to meet targets.
