ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
its respective suppliers through the analysis of materials and processes.
Metallographic sample preparation.
Interpretation of ferrous and non-ferrous microstructures in the wrought and as welded condition.
Operate Brinell and Rockwell hardness measurement equipment.
Communicate technical findings in English, using both oral, as well as written format.
Keep the lab organized and the equipment in good working order.
Use the Corporate Work Request System to log activity and publish results.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Student working towards an Associate's Degree (or equivalent) in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering or related field. .
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metallography and microstructural interpretation
Good oral and written communications skills.
