PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Work individually or in teams to complete product design and design verifications.
Be part of global operator station design team. Actively participate in the design activities.
Understand the manufacturing capabilities of the operator station components supplier and apply this understanding to ensure the new operator station design can be made cost effectively.
Understand all the engineering standards such as material, drawing and heat treatment. Communicating these requirements to the Chinese suppliers effectively.
Understand the operator station designs, features, capabilities and applications and apply this understanding to determine if the design can meet the overall tractor requirement for China market.
Control and update the product drawings.
Coordinate the completion of design projects within the PDP format.
Other duties as requested.

REQUIREMENTS
4-year college Degree in engineering, science or equivalent
5 years experience in engineering field
3 years Cab interior trim or sheet metal design experience
Excellent modeling skill in Pro E , especially Pro Surface/ Styling modules and understand principle of the PDMlink database
Good knowledge of plastic and non metal parts design
Good knowledge of manufacturing process for interior trim parts
Understanding of all the safety regulations of Chinese government
Understanding of the whole process from product design, drawing, fabrication to production
Understanding of product improvement process (PIP)
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to take responsibility and make technical decisions based on facts
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Certain English level both in oral and writing
