POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Account Operation Specialist (OAS)
Department: Partner & Field Operation Group - Asia Pacific Operations Center (APOC)
Reports to: PRC Site Ops Manager

Purpose:
Assisting Operation Account Manager (OAM) to manage business operations which is planned for appointed Channel Partners, including, Distributors (Disti) and Licensing Solution Partner (LSP). The major responsibility is to assist OAM in accomplishing LSP’s transactional processes by validating and submitting paper agreements/amendments to APOC for processing. He/She is also responsible to solve simple queries and escalations from Channel Partners based on the pre-defined procedures and escalate to OAMs if the question is complex. If required, he/she may also supporting OAMs in providing basic level trainings and Tool supports to Channel Partners to ensure a smooth order to cash cycle.
Responsibilities:
Execute Channel operational processes in support of Channel Partner(s) business.
Assist OAM in managing accounts in business areas oforderand inventory management, credit, returns, contract management, etc.
Validate Paper Agreement / Amendments received from Channel Partners and submit to APOC for processing. Resolve minor issues identified during the transitional processes. Help OAMs to ensure LSP transitional processes run smoothly.
Answer simple partner queries and address first-tier escalations when the solution can be identified easily. Ensure proper escalations to OAMs when the question cannot be answered at OAS level.
Supporting OAMs in conducting some basic level trainings to Channel Partners under OAMs’ instructions and coaching to ensure partners’ operational readiness and transactional accuracy.
Help OAM to draft and construct relevant Operation email communications on business changes and plan to gain further efficiencies and effectiveness
Execute Operational processes of contract renewal / partner onboarding / offboardingbased on pre-defined processes
Being a part of OAM team to help to maintain and improve the partner’s CPE score.
Provide guidance on inventory goals for Microsoft products for Microsoft Channel Partner (s)
Leverage MS tools and information, to enhance Channel Partner’s effectiveness in managing Microsoft business.
Qualifications Should Include:
Minimum 5 years business experience in account management, business operations, supply chain management or customer service
BA/BS or equivalent required
Strong background in customer service and/or account management
Fair knowledge of the Microsoft product line (include retail and volume licensing products/programs) and the ability to leverage these products to get the job done.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills (both English and Mandarin); very good presentation experience and interpersonal skills.
Ample expertise in creating marketing materials (including but not limited to PowerPoint slides, newsletters, promotion decks and other ad/marketing materials) would be a strong plus
Experience in international and / or domestic logistics or supply chain management.
General knowledge of international business and a high degree of cultural awareness and sensitivity required.
Must be highly self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote location away from core business team.
