My Client is a well established Logistics company who are currently seeking an experienced Branch Manger to be based in Shanghai and oversea the China business. This is a great opportunity to work for a leading global company who have a strong worldwide presence.
As the Branch Manager you will be fully responsible for managing and overseeing all day to day operations in the Shanghai office. Full accountability for P&L activities for the China region, designing and implementing strategy for China and also driving the sales team and business development across the region in order to meet performance targets. As a strong leader you will manage and motivate the team in Shanghai in order to drive sales to increase revenue and profitability. Ensure high standards of quality are kept and all compliance and environmental policies are enforced.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be degree educated in supply chain, logistics, or business related and have previous experience in a similar position. Candidates must have at least 10 years of regional operations experience with excellent knowledge of Ocean/Air Freight Forwarding & Logistics. Candidates will have strong experience in P&L management, driving business strategies across China as well as a proven track record of implementing sales strategies and leading a sales team. In order to succeed within this position candidates must have excellent management, communication, interpersonal and business development skills. Candidates must have experience of working in Shanghai and be fluent in written and spoken English.
