职位描述
The position is to lead the pricing committee to review regularly the company pricing strategy, by analyzing past and market pricing information for key products. The position is also responsible for driving the price process to be effective and add value to the company profitability.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Review and develop pricing policies to ensure they are aligned with our strategic objectives.
Ensure pricing policies are fully understood by the business and completely implemented in daily operations.
Organize price review meeting with the committee monthly. This meeting is to review outcomes from last month and determine any changes to the list price, promotions discount levels and other special price policies to ensure we are achieving our strategic objectives and targets.
Analyze price evolution for key products and regions to understand the competitive position of each pricing, look for price improvement opportunities. The analysis is a key element for price committee to make decisions.
Study competitors’ prices to understand the pricing premium for key products. Make sure the price premiums are reflecting the brand premium.
Analyze the price dynamics including list price, promotion and rebate activities to understand the “pocket price waterfall” and variability of pricing. Identify and communicate opportunities to pricing committee.
Competency and requirements
Bachelor degree is must, Master is preferred.
Major in business administration, finance or marketing.
Understand the finance database and marketing activities, particularly pricing models.
Hands on experience on data managing and analysis.
5+ years track experience in financial analysis, reporting, product and pricing management.
Team work with other functions, mainly sales, marketing, business development and finance.
Good command of both English and Chinese, able to communicate to Executive team effectively.
Leadership and interpersonal skills.
Possible sales and analytic background.
