Our client is a German based organisation with over 65 years’ history, aiming to become one of the worldwide leading component and system suppliers in mobile and industrial hydraulics with products in the fields of Fluid Control and Fluid Motion Control. Their success lies in their reliability, support to and commitment with their customers through technology know-how, innovation and flexibility of their production units, in combination of the quality and sustainability of the products. They hire a total of 1,200 motivated employees worldwide, in 5 manufacturing facilities and 9 sales distribution entities, who contribute annual
sales revenue of Euro 130 million approximately.
They have been actively servicing their customers in China since 2005 through their Hong Kong office. With an expansion plan, they have established their manufacturing plant and sales organisation officially in 2012. Therefore, in order to realise the business plan, they are inviting an experienced Application Specialist as a part of the sales team, who with passion to design and improve system solutions according to customers’ needs.
Job Description:
With reporting to the Head of Sales, China, the application specialist is responsible for technical consultation,
component specification and application.
- Technical support for and coordination with sales team in term of pre-sales and after-sales
- Provide solutions for customers
- Participation in projects
- Resolution of technical issues of system solutions
- Liaison with other departments, such as production and R&D
- Internal and external technical training

- Polytechnic or university degree in machinery or engineering
- At least 5 years of relevant experiences
- Experience in mobile hydraulic application
- Innovative, logic and able to tackle problems with structural approaches
- Open-minded, highly collaborative, team-player in nature
- Mobility in visiting customers and sites
- Fluency in Chinese and English
