Job title: Port Captain


Introduction
? Austral Asia Line Pte Ltd (AAL) is a comprehensive regular shipping line (between Asia and Australasia, West USA etc), specializing in break-bulk and project cargo.
? The corporate head office is located in Singapore and is supported by regional officers in Brisbane, Shanghai and Germany.
? With the development of company, we are looking for qualified candidates for below vacancy


Job Responsibility:


? Based in Shanghai Regional office and report to planning manager
? Provide technical advice and guidance to commercial and operations teams
? Carries out technical inspections of cargo
? Draw up vessel cargo stowage plans
? Attendance loading and discharge of vessel cargo, providing technical advice to vessel, master and crew, ships agents as required during the process
? Compiles formal attendance reports: loading/discharging; lashing/seafasten; problem met and solution etc
? To liaise with the terminal operators and to arrange smooth vessel operation
? Perform ad hoc duties as and when required
? Daily activity reports to principle


Job Requirements:


? Holder of masters license or chief officers license, unlimited certificate
? Experience onboard Break Bulk Carriers
? Experience in managing Loading, Discharge, Steel, break bulk cargo, project, HL and Dry Bulk
? Good personality with strong character
? Good technical knowledge, good command of AUTOCAD software
? Proficient in spoken and written English
? Report writing skill
? Strong supervisory, communication and problem solving skills
? Able to work in tough environment and under pressure
? Willing to travel Within China and oversea.
