Description
GBS (Global Business Service) finance is the HP Finance Shared Service Center which support Controllership for all China entities, the scope covered AR (Accounts Receivable), AP (Accounts Payable), IC(Inter-Company) and FA(Fixed Assets).
This CFR role based at Zhang Jiang, Shanghai, and will drive best business practice and strategy partner’s role with controllership, finance and business partners to ensure first class service delivery.
This is achieved by:
？ Dynamic leadership of the project management
？ Closely partnering with GBS process Leaders to drive best business practice
？ Ensure compliance of Accounting Policies
？ Support the implementation of new business, systems and processes into GBS
？ Managing process performance to drive continuous improvement
Responsibilities
？ Build effective working relationships with GBS finance process leaders, controllership, COE, treasury, tax, BU finance, FS and also business partners.
？ Sensitive in the policies and procedures for all GBS finance process; design and continuously improve processes focusing on simplification, standardisation, quality improvement and cost minimisation;
？ Evaluate best practices and be best practice sponsor.
？ Refine and monitor Key Performance Indicators for all GBS finance process
？ Use exception reporting and root cause analysis to identify issues and areas for improvement; liaise with Business Partners to drive improvement.
？ Participate in the implementation of new businesses into GBS and ensure all deployments are stabilized
？ Participate in process improvement reviews and projects.
？ Report on and resolve non-compliance issues.
？ Ensure relevant GAAP, HP accounting policies and GBS procedures are adhered to
？ Active support controllership in external and internal audits.

？ Strong financial controls knowledge
？ Strong and independent communicator on all levels
？ Process orientated with excellent problem solving skills
？ Strong technical and analytical skills
？ Deliver process changes within the set timeframes
？ Knowledge of SAP
Experience / Qualifications
？ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, MBA is also preferred
？ Minimum of 8 years working experience in similar roles with multinational corporations.
？ Experience of SAP.
？ Broad knowledge of accounting concepts, processes and best practices
？ Strong business acumen and cross functional process change capabilities
？ Green Belt is preferred
？ Fluent in English and Mandarin communication.
