Reports to: Operations Manager – China
Job Summary:
The field engineer will properly install, demonstrate, and service our packaging equipment in customer locations throughout China. This position will also work closely with our Product Development to maintain a thorough understanding of the design and assembly of our equipment. This position will be responsible to ensure the machines are well maintained and operating safely. The position is the primary consistent contact point to our customers in China.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


1. Ensure the proper installation, demonstration, and service of machines/equipment at customer sites. Works with staff to develop and maintain skills and understand requirements in regards to customer support (internal / external) and travel / work expectations. 在客户现场对设备进行安装、调试和技术服务。定期拜访客户，了解设备运行情况，确保所有设备正常运行
2. Responds effectively to customer inquiries and requests for technical assistance. 及时有效地对为客户提供设备故障排除、维护保养、技术支持等相关服务。
3. Works with Product Development to thoroughly understand the specifications, operation, maintenance, and configuration of the equipment sold by the Company. 熟悉并及时更新设备知识、全面理解设备结构及操作调试要领
4. Effectively communicates to management the status of each customer and machine in the field. 及时向上级汇报客户状态及每台设备的运行状况
5. Prepares a report of each customer visit with status of the state of the machine, the use of none OEM parts and the use of non OEM clips. 撰写客户拜访报告，包括设备的运行状态、设备零部件使用情况等

6. Create and implement effective training for preventative maintenance procedures for the equipment and monitor/report compliance levels. 培训并推动客户对设备进行维护保养
7. Works within consumable manufacturing units to understand the core technology of our consumable products business. 熟悉设备零件及使用耗材的相关技术要求
8. Reports recurring technical questions and/or complaints to the Product Development Department. 及时与产品开发部门对设备的常见故障进行沟通
9. Effectively communicates with sales agent’s personnel in providing high quality customer service. 与经销商紧密协作，致力于提供高质量的客户服务
10. Will assist the localization of parts and equipment as needed. 协助相关供应商开发
11. May perform other duties as requested by supervisor. 完成其他上级指派的工作



Job Qualifications (Education, Prior Work Experience, Skills & Knowledge):

Minimum
Preferred

? Minimum of associate’s degree in engineering, electrical or mechanical systems, or other related discipline, or an equivalent/acceptable amount of industry experience. 大专及以上学历
? Must have above-average mechanical aptitude to include a working knowledge of mechanical and electrical components, automated equipment and PLC-controlled machinery, as well as troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical components. 拥有出色的机械及电气知识、熟悉PLC控制等自动化设备，熟悉相关机械及电气元器件的构造及常见故障
? Must have the ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics. 须能够看懂机械及电气图纸
? Must possess the ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers – both at the plant management level and the line manager level. 能够与客户各级管理层建立良好的合作关系
? Must be able to work independently with little direct supervision. 具备较强的独立性，能够独立解决大部分设备问题
? Must be able to work effectively in a team environment 较强的团队合作能力
? Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.能够同时承担多项任务
? Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. 较强地口头表达及书面能力
? Must be skilled in MS Word, Excel and outlook. 熟练使用Word, Excel及Outlook办公软件
? Must be able to travel frequently. Flexibility to travel on short notice and occasional weekend work/travel will be required to meet business needs.能够适应频繁国内出差，能够根据客户需求做出及时响应
? Must be able to travel internationally, when needed, a valid passport is required. 能够进行海外出差

? Minimum of five years’ experience working in technical support for mechanical systems, preferably with additional experience in machine installation and assembly. 五年以上相关设备安装调试及技术服务经验者优先考虑
? Previous experience as a trainer for technical subjects. 拥有相关技术培训经验者优先考虑
? Good English reading and writing skill is preferred. 拥有较强的英语阅读和书写能力者优先考虑
