SWEP-Local Key Account Manager
We wish to appoint a Local Key Account Manager for north and east of China. The location of Suzhou is preferred and flexible for other location of east/north China for specific situation. In this newly created position, you will report to the Hub and SKA Managers concerned. Your role will be to develop and manage sales, services and business development to a number of appointed SKA entities and local key accounts in the region, striving to obtain long-term, profitable sales with these entities and to broaden and deepen relations with them.
Your tasks will include:
? Frequently visiting appointed entities to deepen and broaden relations and networking
? Increasing sales, market share and profit margins at appointed accounts
? Obtaining business intelligence relevant to account management
? Providing technical, commercial and application support to appointed customers
? Adhering to, implementing and promoting SWEP's strategies
? Managing/supporting a wide range of activities/projects with customers and within SWEP based on strategic goals set by the account manager concerned
? Working as a team with Business Engineers and Customer Support to finalize customer orders
? Identifying and negotiating the best business alternatives
? Analyzing and developing market knowledge
? Actively contributing to improving SWEP's performance as a supplier to appointed accounts
? Contributing to sales business reviews at least twice/year
? Participating in or leading key/major projects on request
? Reporting weekly and monthly to the HUB and SKA Managers
? Providing forecasts upon request and following guidelines from the HUB or SKA Manager, and proposing the annual sales budget
Your background
You must have:
? A first or higher degree in engineering, with a major in (or good knowledge of) refrigeration of thermal and power engineering.
? A background in the refrigeration/air conditioning industries
? At least 5 years of relevant job experience, including at least 3 years in sales
? Good spoken and written English
? Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package and a basic understanding of calculation tools
? Driver's license
You must be strongly driven with an outgoing personality, a commercial mindset and a technical background, preferably in this field of engineering. Some knowledge and experience of managing and participating in cross-functional projects is considered an advantage.
