JOB FUNCTION
Export Control Compliance:


1. Lead the export control functions for Architectural and Refinish Coatings Businesses in Asia Pacific region to ensure products are sold and distributed in compliance with the U.S. and local country export control regulations
2. Understand and keep current the regulatory requirements for the export, re-export, and in-country transfer of PPG products, technologies, and services
3. Work with Regional Export Compliance Manager and other Export Control Coordinators to implement the export compliance program for the responsible businesses in the region, which includes maintaining a set of export control procedures, providing the relevant training, and administering all necessary compliance screening
4. This position needs to be able to train and to audit and to coordinate the activities of the part time ECC's in the business.
5. Initial focus will be on China


Other compliance responsibility:
6. Support Compliance Director Asia Pacific to manage the Asia Pacific Compliance Program, execute compliance activities, including training, organize compliance workshops, support risk assessment processes, investigations, and communicate and follow up for the corrective actions for compliance issues, and other works allocated by Compliance Director.


Requirements:
1. A business Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, with at least 5 years of working experience in related field
2. Strong understanding of trade regulations, export control regulations, and/or FCPA and anti-corruption compliance laws and regulations, and skills to practically implement procedures to meet the compliancerequirements, prefer export operation experience in multi-national company


3. Good communication skill in both Chinese and English and written skill
4. Demonstrated ability in sharing effective and practical business approaches to ensure compliance
5. Prior project management experiences in cross countries assignment
6. Working experience in PPG is a plus.
