Job Duties:

1. Histopathological evaluation of preclinical toxicology studies.

2. Author pathology narrative reports of microscopic, gross and clinical findings.

3. Develop and maintain immunohistochemistry capabilities at site.

4. Supervise necropsies and provide scientific guidance to technical group (necropsy, histology) to ensure accuracy and compliance with protocols and SOPs.

5. Communicate and interact with study directors and sponsors on significance of pathologic findings.

6. Participation in pathology related projects to develop new or improved technologies in the laboratory.


Requirements:

1. MD or DVM degree or equivalent.

2. 2+ year’s pathology experience.

3. MSc / PhD is preferred.

4. Technical understanding and experience in immunohistochemistry/molecular biology

5. Previous GLP working experience is a plus.

6. Excellent communication skills, especially written skills.

7. Ability to build strong bonds with technicians to foster open and honest communications.

8. Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast paced, changing environment.
