Global Finance
Global Finance aims to provide HSBC with a professional, effective and responsive finance service that operates at optimal cost and employs a common and transparent global model.


We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of GMO Officer- Vanilla Ops(Corp) HBCN.

In this role, you will:

·Process vanilla products like FX / MM/Fixed Income/Bullion Account Metals in TREATS/HUB/TCM, etc. by :
- Performing due diligence for transactions including phone affirmation against bank records,
- Preparing for settlements including assist Banking Ops to settle GM transactions,
- Arranging and posting accounting entries if any
- Taking follow-up actions for exceptional cases in a timely manner
- Making sure all transactions to be fully in compliance with internal (GM FIM) & external (local regulations) requirements

·Review offline reminder reports, prepare deal settlement reminder report and send to BCH OPS who’ll follow up to arrange settlement with corporate customer.
·Co-ordinate with Branch OPS / Global Markets / RM in case of necessary to ensure correct and timely settlement of corporate FX deal.
·Prepare corporate FX new deal list via TREATS query and send to BCN OPS for further reconciliation to ensure customer’s dealing application via BCH OPS has been acted properly without omission.
·Assist supervisor in working out new product procedures and take part in system / project testing.


To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

·Unversity degree or above (recognized by the state).
·Strong in priority setting and time management. Willing to work under pressure.
·Good at MS office software (Excel) and other financial reporting system.
·Highly responsible, quick-learning, self-motivated and highly efficient and with confidence on communication. Fluent verbal and written English.
·Relevant working experience or accounting background is preferred.
