Job Description:

Participates in needs analysis studies to determine training needs within organization.

Confers with management to gain knowledge of specific work situations requiring employees to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations and technologies.

Formulates teaching outline and determines instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops.

Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works.

Selects or develops testing and evaluation procedures to be used at completion of training.

Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as new employee orientation, on-the-job training, use of computers and software, apprenticeship programs, customer service, sales techniques, health and safety practices, public relations, refresher training, promotional development, upgrading and leadership development.

Evaluates participants to measure progress and to ascertain effectiveness of training.

Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.

Revises design of training curriculum and methods to improve effectiveness.

Job Requirements:

Typically requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of training experience.

Good communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.

Demonstrates operations and technical skills and understanding of Flextronics’ functional standards.

Use of the following tools may be required: Office Skills: office software to include, word-processing, spreadsheets, and presentation packages. Must be able to communicate to all levels of the organization from production associates through executives.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Demonstrates advanced functional and technical skills and basic process skills.

Demonstrates advanced/thorough knowledge of the function and Flextronics business.
