Major Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the management and control of local purchasing team, ensure safe and efficient materials procurement operation to support production and other internal department.

2. Support Engineering team and cooperate to source suitable and high quality suppliers for various projects.

3. Integrating corporate strategic goals to set purchasing target, identifies annual cost saving target and leads the implementation.

4. Purchasing procedure control, management and improvement

5. Lead purchasing team to achieve supplier development and project procurement.

6. Identify assess and develop local suppliers with Quality and Engineering department for group products.

7. Act as a team leader to manage supplier relationships to achieve continuous improvements.

8. Manage suppliers' quality, deliveries & prices to optimize value.

9. Lead or participate in negotiation process for the relevant products. Make recommendations in supplier selection, development. Recognize and analyze business and legal risks of supply alternatives/sourcing.

10. Key member of NPI team

11. To localize components and ensure ROI back from tooling investment

12. Effectively communicate project requests and expectations with related departments and suppliers in a timely and clear fashion.
Requirements:

1. Above 8 years of sourcing and purchasing experience and at least 3 years in management position, manufacturing purchasing experience required. Above 5 years in lighting industry.
2. Bachelor Degree or above, engineering or related background preferred
3. Good knowledge and experiences in procurement process and workflow control
4. Knowledge of various manufacturing and assembly processes specially die casting, stamping, injection, powder coating, painting
5. Excellent leading ability and team spirit, outstanding analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
6. Good communication and negotiation tactics skill.
7. Proficiency in both written and oral English.
8. Willing to Travel.
