Major Responsibilities:

1. Support all quotes and project developments in line with the related requirements of the BU- APQP. Preparation for sourcing committee using the company tools and procedures. Deliver programs in time and within budget.

2. Responsible for Supplier cost management for all relevant purchased parts including

· RFQ (request for quotation)

· Total cost of ownership

· Cost change

· Supplier selection in line with company procedures

These responsibilities will require liaison with other areas of the purchasing organization i.e.

Commodity and operation buyers as required to ensure that the company goals are being achieved.

3. Supplier APQP phases 0-3 based on CFT (cross functional team) RACI chart responsibilities.

These responsibilities will include working in the cross functional team ensuring that all purchasing requirements according to the APQP procedures are met and communicated within the CFT and the wider organization. This will include both supplier and company facility visits to ensure compliance to the project goals.

4. Maintain relevant Purchasing reports as required for management review.

Regular feedback to management will be required as to the status of each project using the company standard report.

5. Continuous interaction with the wider purchasing community to ensure purchasing strategy is being executed.

6. . Supports ensuring that all statutory regulations concerning health, safety and environmental standards are adhered to; as well as the company sustainable development program.

7. Demonstrates commitment to the principle of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

1. Strong technical understanding of metal part

2. Familiar with manufacturing process and sourcing/purchasing process

3. Strong understanding of FMEA & PPAP etc

4. Effective negotiation skills

5. More than 5 years working experience and 3 years in sourcing or purchasing in automotive industry.

6. Outstanding problem-solving skills

7. Good command of English and communication skill.

8. Team player and Self motivated, work under stress.
