Responsibility

1. Oversight of Quality Management System and ensuring full and consistent implementation and adherence, as well as continuous improvement of the QMS.

2. Has responsibility for the oversight of all aspects of the business unit QA program including program development, auditing, and administration

3. Responsible for the oversight on the development, implementation, and management of the vendor management program to ensure supply chain quality.

4. Responsible for ensuring compliance of the weld program to industry and regulatory agency requirements.

5. Responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of a process for documenting and analyzing customer feedback regarding the operation’s performance and creating action plans based upon the feedback received.

6. Provides Quality training and mentoring of employees to facilitate change throughout the organization and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

7. Stays abreast of current industry standards and code requirements and communicates information related to products or services of the business unit.

8. Interfaces directly with other departments, technical entities, consultants, customers, and/or suppliers on quality related issues.

9. Works with Global Quality Assurance team to ensure consistency of the QMS and its implementation.

Requirement

1. Four years college education or comparable quality related work experience.

2. Expert and proven knowledge in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Quality Management Systems

3. Proven ability to provide leadership and discipline in establishing and achieving Quality goals and objectives

4. A proven leader who can lead a multi-cultural team

5. Ability to work in a team environment.

6. Ability to train and mentor personnel at all levels of the organization

7. Heavy Industry background is a plus.

8. Welding Experience is a plus.
