Job Position: AP/Cost Accountant


Qualifications:


1. Minimum three years Accounting experience

2. Excellent communication skills

3. Competent in written and spoken English

4. College or university graduate with a degree in accounting

5. Inventory costing and accounts payable work experience

6. High Integrity

Position Responsibilities: (Job Description)

1. Maintain accurate inventory

a. Standard cost update

b. PPV review and analysis

c. DL and OH variance review

d. Cycle count adjustments and root cause analysis

e. Inventory roll forward forecast monthly

f. Navision warehouse and manufacturing module support

g. Freight standard review and system cost update

h. Analysis and allowance for excess and obsolete inventory

2. Accounts payable accuracy

a. Settle AP payment/invoices in Navision

b. Account Payable Scheduling

c. Purchase VAT invoices management

3. Preparation of SAFE documents

4. Preparation of Customs documents

5. LMC account reconciliations

6. Provide production analysis to support efficiency improvements



Business Process Accountabilities:


1. China-Accounts payable Process management

2. China-Costing update Process management

3. China-SAFE policy compliance Process management



Objectives:


1. Develop consistent and efficient AP transaction process including reconciliations

2. Review and develop standard cost system, setting accurate direct labor rate and overhead rate

3. Analyze PPV/DL variance/OH variance, take suggestions to operation people to improving efficiency

4. Develop process to properly identify and value excess and obsolete inventory



Deliverables:


1. AP invoices reviewed and reconciled on time each month

2. Review, obtain approval and update standard cost file in Navision by work centers within two months of hire date

3. PPV/DL variance/OH variance analysis reported and reviewed with operations monthly

4. Excess and obsolete inventory reported monthly including reserves by part number
