The Role:
As a Business Analysts with Morningstar China Sales and Marketing team, you will elicit, document, and manage requirements and projects; facilitate meetings and discussions; conduct feasibility studies and product research, and act as a bridge or liaison between internal teams and external clients. You will be a central role in aligning client business needs with Morningstar capabilities. You will be held accountable for the successful implementation and delivery of our client projects and services, which include but not limited to Data feed, Licenced Tools and Fund reports. In addition, you will be engaged in a wide scope of other business activities such as organizing marketing events, attending client visits, conducting product presentations and demonstrations and promoting Morningstar brand awareness.
Qualifications:
？ Possess both strong business sense and excellent technical sense;
？ Experience in project management and knowledgeable in investment terminologies and Morningstar methodologies;
？ Strong communication skills and organizational skills;
？ Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work both independently and within a team environment;
？ Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, willingness to learn, and proactive problem-solving skills;
？ Strong business English skills, both verbal and written;
？ Knowledge of financial and investment industry a plus;
Responsibilities:
？ Function as the liaison between business units, development teams and support teams, and maintain excellent on-going client relationship;
？ Lead, coordinate and monitor projects throughout the entire cycle;
？ Work closely with Data Analysts, IT and Research teams to define, evaluate and document detailed business and technical requirements;
？ Work closely with sales and marketing teams and contribute to identifying and acquiring new business opportunities;
？ Translate client needs into technical or product specifications and regularly disseminates clear and concise project information and client feedbacks between different groups;
？ Effectively apply project management methodology, enforce best practice standards, track project status, perform QAs according to test plan and define appropriate risk mitigation and contingency plans;
？ Perform other ad hoc tasks such as document translation, product research, answer inquiries, produce marketing materials, conduct business analysis, attend client meetings and prepare solutions and bidding documents.
