The position
Our Public Health (PH) Consulting Business assists clients in identifying the public health risks associated with their projects, to manage them in the most cost effective and culturally acceptable way, and to build sustainable partnerships with local communities and national health authorities. The expertise of our team covers a wide and multi-disciplinary scope - from epidemiology to social program design, from tropical medicine to occupational and public health.
We are looking for a public health expert interested in joining our team. Responsibilities include the following ones:
Support and/or actively lead the delivery of PH consultancies;
Assist in carrying out Health Impact Assessment of complex projects in low and middle income countries;
Field manage epidemiological surveys;
Carry out literature reviews of scientific journals and grey publications to produce health profiles;
Design, manage and evaluate community health programs;
Develop monitoring and evaluation tools and methodologies;
Conduct field work using participatory research methods;
Provide support and coordination to field programs;
Initiate and manage strategic health planning with key clients;
Assist in preparing and/or develop public health papers and articles.
The person
Relevant public health related qualification - MS or PhD
Global exposure with interest in developing markets
Capacity to work independently and/or in multidisciplinary team
Project management and field experience in public health programs
Relevant on-the-field NGO / development work or volunteer experience
Experience in working in a corporate environment is a plus
