IT manager



Main Function:



The objective of the post is to effectively manage the Info systems operations in GMT Nigeria and to effectively support the corporate to fulfill the technical maintenance under the fixed assignment. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of market standard IT management as well as IT applications and infrastructure technologies that can help accomplish this purpose optimally.




Main Responsibilities:



1. Define and standardize IT policies, disseminate within IT functions and monitor compliance in Lagos



2. Define and manage IT annual budget in Lagos



3. Responsible for IT Assets (hardware/software) management in Lagos.



4. Responsible for managing the IT Infrastructure and its facilities to ensure its daily performance in perfect way



5. Ensure high availability of all systems across LAN/WAN; achieve maximum availability and up-time of networks at all time, minimizing business hours disruption through external outages and events.



6. Responsible for managing the help desk daily service to ensure the satisfaction of it users under the defined IT policies with expected efficiency.



7. Work within corporate standards to ensure all systems, procedure, hardware and software is set up according to established standards to ensure the compliance.



8. Take charge of all hardware and software vendor relationship management



9. Know the current landscape of IT risks, local regulations, and threats in protecting critical data, information and network systems for continuous improvement purpose.



10. Proactively seek to evaluate and deploy appropriate technology to drive improvement in IT application/management for continuous improvement purpose





Main Requirements:



1. Bachelor degree or above in computer or equivalent.



2. Over 5 years of working experience solidly in IT with relevant infrastructure and info system Administration.



3. At least 2 years of working experience of managing a IT team as the leader



4. Excellent knowledge of desktop support, servers, network, IT security with the coverage of areas like Juniper, check point, Windows 7/server 2008&Hyper-V, Exchange, VOIP, Unify Communication, IP Phone, Switch Box, VPN, LAN/WAN, PBX



5. Fluent Ability to speak and write in English



6. Self-driven, motivated and strong accountability, Motivation and Coaching skills



7. Work in Lagos Nigeria.
