Global Service Delivery
Within HSBC Technology and Services, Global Service Delivery is a business-aligned, customer-servicing organisation with the primary objective of driving operational excellence across our businesses worldwide. Achieving this through the consolidation, simplification and continuous improvement of processes across the full range of HSBC operations, the division simultaneously takes responsibility for managing operational, location and processing risk and ensuring that services provided are at a best-in-class price point for the required quality level.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Wealth Service Manager, SD HBCN.
In this role, you will:
To monitor daily operations in regard to HBCN’s Wealth Management products and ensure all exceptional cases are well handled. To ensure smooth and efficient running of daily operations as well as to deliver high stands of service to all customer groups.
Streamlining operational procedures, and identifying methods to reduce operational risk.
Managing and providing training and development to team staff. Liaising and coordinating with other internal or external business parties for smooth cooperation.
·By adhering to transaction processing and pre-set guidelines, to review operations procedures regularly and monitoring the daily operation closely.
·To ensure the punctuality and accuracy of the daily transactions and statistic data report to internal department according to regulatory authorities’ requirement.
·To supervise other various operation tasks, including project coordination/UAT for system enhancement and system maintenance for new and existing products etc.
·To set up the DIB/E-DIB/BRCM work frame and keep the Operation Manuals up to date for different Wealth Management functions.
·To forecast and review the work tasks against resources required.
·To monitor and analyze operations productivity results and to provide guideline in enhancing operations efficiency and effectiveness.
·To communicate with different business lines and parties, including custodian banks and fund houses, to set up and maintain a good working relationship.
·By identifying the areas for improvement, arranging normal training courses in both banking knowledge and professional skills. Organizing cross-functional training to achieve high service standard and to provide more development opportunities for team staffs.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Experience Requirements
·5-7 years’ working experience.
Knowledge/Special Skills Requirements
·Banking operation knowledge of Wealth Management products, remittance, and customer accounts, knowledge of PC, good command of oral and written English, communication skills, problem solving skill and people management skill.
Major Difficulties
·The jobholder has to be familiar with relevant regulations/procedures on Wealth Management products to ensure strict adherence and to provide accurate and quick response to internal / external customer’s enquiries, besides, he/she should endeavor to ensure customer satisfaction by providing alternatives. The jobholder has to prioritize the work and ensure its timely completion.
·Effective people management skills are required for this position too.
