1.Purpose of the function:
Plan, steer, coordinate and follow-up the work activities and resources in the local Finance department (budgeting & forecasting, accounting, internal control, tax & treasury) and ensure accounting and financial administration are compliant with both legislation and ZF WPT guidelines.
Provide financial reporting, analyses and recommendations to local and ZF WPT management in order to assist in meeting the company’s objectives.

2.Major Responsibility
Business and operations planning
Implement and follow-up local accounting, controlling, tax and treasury activities in a timely and accurate manner and ensure all subsequent systems for measuring and reporting are developed, implemented, monitored and followed-up to provide plant and ZF WPT management with information vital to the decision-making process, while ensuring compliance with ZF WPT and local legal requirements.

Provide business focused financial support & decision support in order to assist in meeting the company’s objectives. Ensure effective management of cash and financial risk (credit, foreign exchange) for the plant

Process excellence
Develop, implement, follow-up and report on (cross-)departmental systems, policies and procedures such as budgeting & forecasting processes, accounts receivable & payable, general accounting procedures in line with ZF WPT guidelines/directives in order to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of the plant and finance operations.

Budget and cost ownership
Lead, implement, follow-up and report on the budgeting & forecasting processes for the plant according to ZF WPT guidelines and ensure the plant’s costs and assets are appropriately managed.

Prepare, implement and follow-up budget and cost for the assigned cost centers, implement initiatives to reduce cost, optimise benefits and take the necessary corrective actions to ensure the budget is respected.

Compliance
Know and apply the local legislation, ZF WPT guidelines/directives and accounting standards in order to comply with these, and to ensure the company make’s optimal use of these.

Experience and knowledge sharing
Build and share knowledge and experience internally and externally in order to leverage expertise and performance level of the team and the broader organization.

Team management & development
Coordinate, plan and steer departmental activities in order to reach the departmental goals.
Steer, develop and coach department/team members in order to maximise performance and stimulate people growth.

3.Context
Internal contacts:GMs, department managers, corporate finance, all staff, location counterpart, corporate others, etc…

External contacts: Bank, authorities, all kinds of government department, etc…

4.Qualifications

Technical Competencies & Skills:
Good command of english Experience in Multi-national company Broad knowledge of business processes
acknowledgement on IFRS and China Gaap Have good knowledge with SAFE regulation Thorough knowledge of Accounting, Financial analysis, Credit control, Cost analysis.
Good MS skill Hyperion financial reporting

Expertise / Others:
Master / Bachelor degree in Finance or Economics, preferably with an additional Masters degree in Business Administration.
10 to 15 years experience in Finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Chinese.
