Key responsibilities
Recruiter
Apply deep understanding of local marketplace (candidate) supply
Develop recruitment approach, for each requisition in alignment with local sourcing strategy
Ensure the recruitment process/lifecycle is completed in an efficient and professional manner
Provide feedback and input for improvement of campus recruitment activities
Address ongoing problems and challenges negatively impacting the team or resulting in slow time to fill or unfilled roles
Delivers recruitment training to hiring managers, executives, and recruiters
General
Escalate issues and risks in a timely and appropriate manner
Establish self as an expert or key contributor
Increase client/customer or user satisfaction
Create re-usable solution, process or work product
Make/propose improvements to work
Candidate Management
Confirm requisition details in consultation with Resource Pool Specialists, Client S/D Specialists, and hiring managers, as appropriate; understand job descriptions, review sourcing methods and interview assessment approach
Liaise with Sourcing Team and Shared Services to source candidates
Review and screen candidate applications
Select candidates for interview process and screen (interview) candidates – review basic skills and experience, evaluate interest and understanding, assess communication, etc.
Review interview feedback
Notify candidates of interview results and check interests
Monitor and track candidate pipeline and ensure it is adequate to meet the requirements of the open vacancies; review results with recruiting lead
Extend offers to candidates, negotiate offers as needed
Manage candidate correspondences, including rejection notices and offer letters
Update recruitment systems with candidate status
Liaise with service centre on recruitment activities
