Job description

Build and maintain a supplier base in China,Identify suppliers.

Evaluate suppliers (production methods, production equipment, skills, quality systems, etc).

Analyze supplier costs and cost of manufacturing components

Handle purchasing process: develop requests for quotation, handle supplier communication, evaluate proposals, negotiate contracts with suppliers, etc.

Work closely with existing suppliers jointly with other Dynapac functions (mainly Production and Quality), make sure new parts are produced on time and that ongoing business is running smoothly.

Follow-up supplier performance and contribute to resolving supply and quality problems.

Cooperate closely with other purchasers, production & quality engineers and planners in the production unit as well as in Dynapac's other manufacturing units.

The work involves substantial amounts of traveling, mainly within China but from time to time also to Dynapac's manufacturing locations in Sweden and Germany.

To fulfill other duties as assigned by superior manager.



Mission

Responsible for developing and monitoring local supplier for responsible parts categories;

Make sure that all the needed parts/components are available at the right time, in the right quality and with a competitive price;

Offer in time and competitive solution to D&D development project.

Be part of the Purchasing Team as well as Dynapac (China) Product Company;

Report to Purchasing Manager.



Experience requirements

At least 3 years' experience of purchasing from manufacturing industry, added experience from manufacturing or design is a plus.

2 years' experience in sourcing project management

Experience of setting up supply agreements is meriting.

Experience of sourcing steel welding parts is preferred.



Knowledge requirements

Good knowledge of industrial process for steel components and solid understanding of cost and quality;

Good skill in financial analysis, e.g. product cost calculations and financial evaluation;

Negotiation skill; Supplier relation management skill

Mandarin Chinese as mother language and also fluent in English, CET6.

Good skill at excel, ppt. ect.



Educational requirements:

University degree, likely in Machinery, Engineering or electronics.



Personality requirements:

Good communicator, persistent though diplomatic;

Ability to initiate and drive projects with only limited guidance;

Team player;

Strong drive, self-motivated, commitment.
