Job Description
1. Technical degree and 5 plus years related experience including progressive management experience
2. Experience in lean initiatives required
3. Computer literate with Microsoft Office proficiency required.
4. Must have above average communication and organization skills.
5. Prior Tier One automotive experience required.

职位要求: 1. Plans and directs the supervision of the employees and activities of production and set-up personnel to ensure prompt and accurate response to the production schedule with minimal downtime, always maintaining open communication with other departments for maximum efficiency.
2. Confers with other members of management personnel, subordinate members of supervision, and general workforce to establish and follow production and quality control standards, develop budgets and cost control measures.
3. Monitors production quality through reviewing processes and equipment. Recommends changes to improve product quality and overall manufacturing efficiency by visually inspecting procedures, processes.
4. Implements lean manufacturing techniques to effect positive efficiencies and cost savings. Supports all systems currently in place and makes recommendations for improvement wherever possible.
5. Reviews and analyzes production, quality, maintenance, and other appropriate operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications and/or operational or production problems.
6. Following strategic plan as set forth by Thermal/Acoustical Group management develops tactical plan for local manufacturing operation.
7. Plans for and suggests ideas for the optimum utilization of equipment, personnel, and supplies to achieve manufacturing objectives in the most cost effective manner possible.
8. Oversees the selection of personnel, manpower planning and development, safety training and hazardous communications.
9. Ensures that appropriate training programs are available and that all operating personnel are trained and qualified in their positions.
10. Ensures all manufacturing equipment is maintained at a level of capability sufficient to meet customer demands.
11. Promotes harmony in the workforce through good and open communication; fair, consistent, and respectful treatment while maintaining discipline within the department. Disciplinary action shall be administered in accordance with established company procedures.
12. Ensures timely input of information into time-keeping system to assist Payroll in the preparation of the bi-weekly??? payroll.
13. Oversees annual performance reviews for all manufacturing employees. This process includes the completion of review forms and recommendations for rate increases. Recommends wage adjustments, promotions, demotions, terminations, layoff, etc.
14. Recommends and takes corrective action in compliance with quality audits, issues, etc.
15. Promotes safety through active participation and support of company safety policies and programs and initiating corrective
