Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Sprague Products, with headquarters in Brecksville, OH, is a leading manufacturer of high pressure pumps, boosters and hydraulic test systems for oil and gas, offshore, process chemical, and general industrial. We currently sell through distribution both domestically and internationally and are looking to add a key member to our team of professionals dedicated to excellence and driven to succeed. We plan to increase our presence in China and are looking for an experienced territory sales manager to help us develop our new distribution network and profitably increase our high pressure product market share.

Responsibilities

This Territory Manager position will be based in Tianjin, China, and will report to the Sprague Sales Manager in Brecksville, OH. Key responsibilities include:

· Assisting headquarters in the development of marketing /sales strategies and distribution network

· Determining target locations, evaluating potential distributors and negotiating distributor agreements.

· Training the new distribution team on the Sprague product line and their application

· Making joint calls with distributors to assist in the increase of sales

· Supporting the distributors with product selection/application engineering

· Local marketing and preparation of technical publications, manuals and sales tools in Chinese

Qualifications and Requirements

The successful candidate will the following qualifications:

· 3-5 years’ work experience in sales management in the fluid power industry in China

· A working knowledge of fluid power principles and systems

· BA/BS in mechanical engineering or fluid power or equivalent degree

· Fluent English, oral and written

· Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint

· Willingness to travel within and outside the country
