职位描述
PRIMARY DUTIES (Team Leadership / Supervisory):
? Overall leadership of R&D group, including engendering team spirit, culture of continuous improvement etc
? Establish and promote a strong team culture of health & safety, environmental awareness etc.
? Set dept / team / personal goals, including planning of R&D projects
? Management / forecasting / reporting of local departmental budget
? Represent Engineering function both within local management team and as part of wider regional / global technical organisation as appropriate; typically includes contribution to local QMS team
? Actively maintain and develop functional links within Global Engineering, and with other engineering teams across the JC organisation
? Working with local HR, recruitment of new technical staff, whether for approved headcount additions or as replacements
? Deliver / facilitate on-going training internally for team members (including induction programmes for new staff), and technical training for other depts as appropriate
? Conduct regular personnel appraisals / TNAs as part of leadership & development of department

8. 提供/加强对团队成员的内部培训 (包括为新进员工提供入职培训项目),以及为其他部门提供适当的技术培训;
9. 进行常规的人员评估/TNAs 作为部门领导及发展的一部分;

? Detailed project reviews and providing technical guidance to project engineers
? Supporting Open Innovation initiatives including implementation of technology intelligence, technology road mapping methodology etc
? Developing collaborative projects in liaision with Universities, research Institutes, Industries and Material vendors
? Use of specialist design and analysis tools such as CSTEDY, FEA , CFD etc
? Representing John Crane at international customer forums, conferences etc
? As appropriate, create / distribute relevant technical information such as bulletins and papers on technologies

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY:
Education: typically an accredited B Eng degree (UK) or overseas equivalent; additional relevant technical / business / management qualifications desirable (e.g. M Eng / MBA / PhD etc.); engineer will typically have gained local ‘chartered’ status (e.g. C Eng in UK, overseas equivalent)
Experience: typically at least 8 years’ relevant experience including in a Research and Product Development role, with relevant product / equipment / industry knowledge; previous supervisory experience desirable
